Puru Amin has been 30 year veteran of industry and a tax accountant, real estate broker and lawyer combined, was trail blazer in the last recession of ‘90s. His book, then titled as “Foreclosures: How to prevent, stop, Beat and Survive” helped thousands.
Puru has successful track record of turning around bankruptcy, distress and foreclosure situations. He has renegotiated and has saved up to $ 5.500, 000 in mortgage workouts. He has helped many in raising equities and obtaining commercial mortgages of over $ 150,000,000.
Apart from that he has syndicated properties, formed joint ventures, LLCs, Corporations and managed ‘Due Diligence’, and co-ordinated closings during acquisition process. He has handy experience in conceptualization, planning and executing development plans for apartments, retail centers, sub divisions, condos, motels, conversions. He has successfully organized and led team of architects, engineers, title officers, attorneys, other professionals for development process.
Over the years during his career Puru has supervised more than 3000 apartment units, renegotiated commercial leases. He has managed successful relations with Brokers, Investors, Bankers and Mortgagees helping him understand the process of foreclosure better and bring out real successful ways to avoid the same.
He has put he full experience in his current book Everything you ever wanted to know to stop foreclosure……but were afraid to ask. The book has been a real success among the media and the experts ever since its launch.
